LIFE IN A METRO: UNVEILING THE VEIL

Beautifully appealing cosmic with greenery is what is being buried under the new E-LIFE or electronic life of metro homosapiens. Yes, the electronic life where all seasons are spent being the gizmo geeks. And the fact that nature is the epitome of beauty is pretty anonymous to those geeks. So the life in a metro smacks of that fast paced life, relentless hours of work the entire day and the clock strucks twelve again. No less but now even the nights experience the day toil instead of mind resting in subconscious level. Crowd is running after PENNY , POWER , POPULARITY. The 3Ps envelopes the city life downright. As mentioined above E-LIFE and 3Ps are the main ingredients of urban city life. They have become the faded dots on the canvas of a city life which are required to complete the picture of urbanism. Personal time, personal relationships, personal health all are at stake. In this burgeoning population time waits for none. One after the other is just moving ahead targetting to leapfrog others in the rat race leaving behind the peace, serenity, beauties and bounties of the natural world.  We live life at full speed. Our foot is on the throttle at all times. Our REAL world has now become the REEL world. The  swanky mode of luxurious city life has made an artificial aura around us. And that is what is making us forgetting HIS most unique gift to us-emotions. In this paradox wired world selfishness, hatred, hostility, utter cravings, competition etc have taken the lead. We are so engrossed in the work, materialism, facilities associated with the city folks that the reality of our existence TOGETHERNESS and affiliation is on the verge of extinction. "ME" has vanished the feeling of "WE" in the metropolitan cities. What we need is the just 3Ps. The glamour of REEL world has actually stolen the simplicity of REAL world. More the cities are shimmering, more of stress they are providing. Very well observed by Shakespeare "our body is a garden to which we are its gardeners". We are responsible for whatever we are doing to our health. The busy hectic schedule also left the urban dwellers with poor health. Stress, depression are increasingly noticed problems among the working class. According to a recent survey 43% adults suffer from negative health effects due to stress. Fast places tend to have high death rate, coronary heart disease, high smoking rates and greater subjective well being. Therefore life in a metro encompasses more around pessimism. Pace of life is fastest in Japan, Western Europe and slowest in economically undeveloped countries. The most queer of all was the study reported by The Occupational Safety & Health Administration that stress costs American industry more than $300 billion annually. Hard work makes one a high profile but what is the use of such work if ultimately at one point of life he exhausts and is not even left to savour the life of fame. So the need of the hour is give yourself a break. The unveiling fact is CONNECTIVITY TO NATURE. Nature has all destressors within it. A deep breath within the fresh morning air takes us away from all the chains of materialism. What is to be realised is that "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".A simpler real life enjoying admiring HIS natural creations is a treasure. Hunt for it. And in order to acheive this set an evironmentalist approach- BE A PRESERVER NOT A DESTROYER. Instead of destroying the natural flora for selfish purposes, man must develop  an affiliation with nature, taking out time from the hours of blithering work and devoting it in increasing the green cover.
The challenge is laid before you : what will you choose? FAST or SLOW? EASE or DISEASE? LIFE or DEATH?
Unveil the face of green, lights of celestial bodies, beauty in growth of buds, fragrance of petals, flow of crystal clear stream, the white ice..the enraptureness they bestow is BEYOND the penny, power, popularity..the 3Ps and the E-LIFE.
THE MORE SIMPLER IT IS, THE MORE BEAUTIFUL IT IS.
